A&J; Air is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Installation Mechanic to join our professional, friendly team based in Redhead. This role involves the installation of a wide range of commercial and industrial air conditioning and refrigeration systems across the Hunter region.

We're also open to considering a 3rd or 4th year apprentice who's enthusiastic about growing their skills in a supportive and dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Installation of commercial and industrial A/C and refrigeration systems
n
- Ducted, split, VRF/VRV, and package unit installations
n
- Install copper piping, insulation, and controls per design specifications
n
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to deliver jobs efficiently
n
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
n
- Maintain site documentation and communicate progress with the team and clients
n
n
About You
n
n
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or nearing completion)
n
- Current refrigeration handling license (ARCtick)
n
- Current driver's license
n
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
n
- High attention to detail and workmanship
n
- Positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
n
