This new role is being created due to the ongoing growth of our Kunda Park branch. We are looking for a hands‐on leader to take the reins of the workshop and the daily management of our fleet and maintenance people.

Responsibilities:

n

We are searching for the right person to provide outstanding leadership and direction to our Kunda Park maintenance function, supporting and reporting to, the Branch Manager.

n

n
- Leading and managing a team of people to achieve service & equipment quality targets
n
- Maintaining Rapid Equipment Hire fleet equipment and service vehicles in accordance with company policy and procedures
n




- Providing support to breakdowns and scheduled maintenance as required
n
- Operational effectiveness and planning of the workshop to maximise available fleet ready for our customers
n
- Contributing to the overall performance of the branch as a member of the Rapid Equipment Hire team
n
- Support and delivery of business strategies
n
- Working collaboratively with the Branch Manager and support functions to deliver set targets
n
- Develop the skills and capability of branch workshop team
n
- Ensure all practices are safe and in line with our procedures
n

To Succeed you will need:

n

n
- Knowledge of a wide range of equipment
n
- Familiarity with large workshop operations and managing people
n
- Proven mechanical troubleshooting acumen
n
- Fitter or Mechanical trade background
n
- Familiarity with working in a face paced environment
n
