About the role

n

The stunning Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden in St Ives is looking for friendly and enthusiastic Casual Visitor Services Guides to help deliver exceptional experiences to our visitors.

n

As a Visitor Services Guide, you'll be the welcoming face of the Garden—greeting guests, assisting with visitor enquiries, leading small group activities, and supporting events, education programs, and weekend operations.

n

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

n

- Provide friendly and informative customer service to visitors
n
- Assist with public programs, tours, and events
n
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment
n
- Support the day-to-day running of the Visitor Centre
n

n

Required qualifications, skills and experience:

n

n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Enthusiastic and confident working with the public (including children and families)
n




- Interest in Australian native Flora and Fauna (training provided)
n
- Available to work weekends and school holidays as required
n
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID001, HLTAID002 and HLTAID003)
n
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
n
- Certificate III in Captive Animals and/or fauna care experience is desired but not essential
n
- Adaptable casual shifts to suit your lifestyle
