Housekeeping & Maintenance Manager | Holiday Rentals
n Callala Bay, NSW | Full-Time | Mon-Fri | $40-$50 per hour + Performance Related Bonuses
n We are a growing holiday rental management company operating across the south-coast Jervis Bay area, managing 250 short-term rental properties.

n

We're seeking an experienced Housekeeping & Maintenance Manager to oversee housekeeping operations, property presentation standards, contractor performance and maintenance co-ordination across our portfolio.

n

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone from relevant background who enjoys leading people, maintaining high standards and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

About the Role

n

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing a network of housekeepers, contractors and suppliers while ensuring our properties consistently meet presentation, cleanliness and maintenance standards.
n You will play a critical role in maintaining quality across the portfolio, supporting housekeepers, resolving operational issues, monitoring performance and continuously improving systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

n

Housekeeping Operations

n

n
- Recruit, onboard and induct housekeepers and service providers
n
- Manage housekeeping allocations and resourcing across the property portfolio
n
- Monitor housekeeping performance through reviews, reporting and KPI tracking
n
- Provide coaching, feedback and support to housekeepers and contractors
n
- Manage performance concerns and implement improvement plans where required
n
- Ensure housekeeping procedures, standards and expectations are consistently followed
n
- Organise and facilitate housekeeping meetings, training sessions and communications
n
- Investigate and resolve housekeeping-related issues raised by guests, owners or team members
n

Maintenance & Contractor Management

n

n
- Manage maintenance requests and maintenance workflows
n




- Monitor jobs through to completion and ensure quality standards are met.
n
- Build and maintain solid relationships with contractors and suppliers.
n
- Coordinate linen requirements across the portfolio.
n
- Manage relationships with laundry and linen suppliers.
n
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues when required.
n
- Ensure stock levels and operational requirements are consistently maintained.
n
- Provide regular operational and KPI reporting to the General Manager.
n
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and service delivery.
n
- Assist with the implementation of operational improvements across the business.
n
- Support the ongoing growth and development of the housekeeping operation.
n

About You

- You are highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused.
n
- You take pride in maintaining high standards, building strong relationships and holding people accountable while creating a positive and supportive working environment.

- You are equally comfortable working in the office, conducting property inspections, managing contractors and solving problems in real time.
n
- Experience of co-ordinating operations, projects or similar
n
- Confident with technology / systems
n
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
n
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
n
- Current driver's licence
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Experience managing housekeepers, cleaners, contractors or service providers across multiple properties or locations
n
- Experience managing rosters, allocations and operational scheduling
n
- Experience coordinating maintenance works and contractor networks.
n
- Experience using property management, scheduling or operational software systems.
n
- Experience producing reports and monitoring KPIs
n
- Experience handling complaints
n
