Due to recent growth, Tools Ahead Home Maintenance is expanding our Toowoomba operations- and we're looking for a friendly, organised, and proactive Handyman to join our in office team.

This is a key role supporting our plumbing and handyman/building services (operating under our Tools Ahead brand), helping to keep daily operations on track while delivering exceptional service to our clients and smooth support to our technicians.

About the Role

This full-time role is ideal for someone who is versatile, "jack-of-all-trades" professional responsible for the upkeep and repair of facilities, whether residential, commercial, or industrial. The main goal is to resolve a wide range of maintenance issues efficiently and professionally, from minor fixes to supporting larger projects, ensuring client satisfaction and building integrity.

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

- Previous experience in handyman tasks would be ideal
n
- Confidence using systems like Service M8,



Office Suite, Gmail—or a willingness to learn quickly
n
- Ability to be work independently, organise parts, quotes etc
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
n
- A desire to be part of a team that genuinely works together and has each other's backs
n

Carpentry:

n

This may involve assembling furniture and building shelves, repairing doors, and mending broken fences. Generally, a handyman should be able to handle minor carpentry work including painting, tiling, fencing etc.

Painting:

n

Painting or retouching surfaces

n

General Maintenance:

n

This may include odd jobs like repairing windows, installing blinds or curtains, fixing small appliances, or replacing filters in HVAC systems.
