The Esplanade Hotel Inverloch is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our busy restaurant operation and play a key role within our management team.

As one of the region's busiest venues, no two days are the same. From everyday service and large bookings to holiday trade and major events, you'll have the prospect to make a genuine impact while taking ownership of your department.

You'll be supported by an experienced leadership team, but trusted to make decisions, develop your people and drive the restaurant as if it were your own.

What You'll Be Responsible For

n

- Leading and developing a large front-of-house team.
n
- Driving exceptional customer service and consistently high service standards.
n
- Managing day-to-day restaurant operations and ensuring smooth service.
n
- Building strong team culture while maintaining clear expectations.
n
- Rostering, labour management and controlling wage costs.
n




- Monitoring department performance and achieving operational KPIs.
n
- Managing customer feedback and resolving issues professionally.
n
- Working closely with the Head Chef and wider management team.
n
- Maintaining presentation, cleanliness and compliance throughout the venue.
n
- Leading by example on the floor during busy service periods.
n

About You

n

You'll ideally have:

n

- Significant experience managing a high-volume restaurant, pub or hospitality venue.
n
- Proven experience leading and developing large teams.
n
- Strong knowledge of rostering, labour management and hospitality operations.
n
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
n
- The ability to remain calm, organised and decisive in fast-paced environments.
n
- A hands-on leadership style—you enjoy being on the floor and supporting your team.
n
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
n
- Availability to work nights, weekends and public holidays as required.
