About the Role:

n

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Trade Assistant to join our workshop in Nebo.

n

A busy role with a bit of everything. You will be helping the tradespeople on jobs, in the warehouse/stores when needed; and keeping the workshop tidy.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Assist qualified tradespeople with repairs, maintenance, and equipment setups.
n
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
n
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop workplace.
n
- Organise equipment and materials to keep the yard safe, tidy and meeting safety & cleanliness standards
n
- Assist the warehouse team as required with such things as pick-up and delivery of parts & materials.
n
- Labouring roles as require.
n

About You:

n

This position would suit someone with strong mechanical aptitude who can work independently while contributing effectively within a maintenance team.

n

The successful candidate will have the following:

n

n




- Solid prior experience as a Trades Assistant in a workshop environment.
n
- Experience working on heavy equipment, ideally CAT (highly desirable).
n
- Current & valid Driver's Licence.
n
- Attributes ofreliability, practicality, being physically fit, and have a proactive attitude.
n
- Mechanically minded with a hands-on approach.
n
- Excellent time management and the ability to work independently.
n
- A positive mindset and a commitment to supporting the wider team.
n
- A strong, proven commitment to Workplace Health & Safety (WHS).
n

n

The successful candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and drug & alcohol screening.

n
