We are seeking an experienced and driven Branch Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a well-established and growing retail and trade business based in Cairns.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader with a proven track record in sales, business development and team leadership. You'll have the autonomy to drive business growth, develop your team and make a real impact, while being supported by an experienced management team.

About the Role

As Branch Manager, you will take full responsibility for the branch's performance, ensuring exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, leading a small team and identifying opportunities to grow the business.

This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on building customer relationships, coaching staff and delivering outstanding commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and develop a small team to achieve outstanding results.
n
- Drive sales growth, profitability and overall branch performance.
n
- Identify and secure new business opportunities.
n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail, trade and commercial customers.
n
- Deliver exceptional customer service at every opportunity.
n
- Oversee daily branch operations, inventory management and presentation.

- Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to improve performance.
n
- Maintain a safe, organised and productive workplace.
n
- Ensure the branch operates efficiently while achieving financial and operational objectives.

About You

n

To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Proven experience as a Branch Manager, Store Manager or similar leadership position.
n
- A solid background in sales, business development and customer relationship management.
n
- A demonstrated ability to grow revenue and improve business performance.
n
- Outstanding leadership and people management skills.
n
- Experience coaching, mentoring and developing staff.
n
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
n
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
n
- A proactive, results-driven approach with high levels of initiative and accountability.
n
- A current Australian Driver Licence.
n
