Our client is a leading supplier and exporter of premium Oaten Hay supporting the dairy communities around the world with reliable forage solutions. They are looking for a Engineering Manager to manage their engineering department.

The role is to plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the design, engineering and technical operations at our Raywood Plant facility.

n

This includes developing and maintaining procedures, working with other departments to provide engineering design support, and providing oversight of the engineering in the manufacturing process.

n

Your responsibilities would include:

n

- Planning, organising, directing and controlling the engineering and technical operations
n
- Oversight and execution of research and development projects
n
- Implementing and monitoring research and development strategies, policies and plans
n
- Complete project work in an productive and timely manner
n




- Establishing project schedules and budgetsOversee maintenance and optimise engineering efficiencies
n
- Ensure conformity with specifications plans, ensuring all regulations and safety requirements are met
n
- Provide technical support, documentation, certification, and quality requirements
n
- Provide workshop engineering and testing support
n
- Assist Quality Manager with technical quality documentation
n
- Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid to business and organisational development
n

Key Requirements

n

Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Engineering

n

Strong People Development Skills

n

Minimum 5 years engineering and operational management experience in manufacturing operations
