About the role

n

We are seeking one to two reliable and motivated Casual Console Operators to join our teams across Bass Hill and Merrylands.

n

The successful applicants must be willing and able to work at both locations and have broad availability across weekdays and weekends. The primary shifts requiring coverage are:

n

- 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm
n
- 10:00 pm to 5:00 am
n

n

Reporting directly to the relevant Retail Store Manager and supported by an accessible leadership and Head Office team, you will contribute to the smooth operation of both stores.

n

Your key duties will include:

n

n
- Providing an exceptional level of customer service
n
- Processing payments and handling cash
n
- Upselling products as part of the customer experience
n
- Keeping up to date with store products and promotions
n
- Receiving deliveries and restocking shelves
n
- Ensuring the store and forecourt are maintained to a professional standard
n




- Maintaining a safe working setting
n

What we're looking for

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Current Australian work rights
n
- A minimum of three months' retail or hospitality experience
n
- Broad availability across weekdays and weekends
n
- Availability to work afternoon and overnight shifts, particularly from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm and 10:00 pm to 5:00 am
n
- The ability and willingness to work across both the Bass Hill and Merrylands stores
n
- Reliable transport to attend shifts at both locations
n
- The ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
n
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
n
- A keen eye for detail
n
- An eagerness to learn new skills
n
- Previous fuel or convenience-store experience is highly regarded but not essential
n

n

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age due to the nature of working in a 24-hour environment.

n

What shifts are available?

n

The primary shifts requiring coverage are 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm and 10:00 pm to 5:00 am across weekdays and weekends.

n

Applicants with limited availability, weekend-only availability or who are unable to work across both locations will not be considered.

n

All applicants will be subject to pre-employment screening, including a criminal history check and a full medical assessment with drug and alcohol testing.
