- Assess clients' cognitive, psychological, psychosocial and vocational functioning to identify barriers to return to work
n
- Develop individualised rehabilitation plans alongside medical professionals, employers and insurers
n
- Deliver evidence-based interventions including CBT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness and stress management
n
- Provide adjustment-to-injury counselling and help clients build effective coping strategies
n
- Identify new employment goals through vocational counselling and assessment, and support job-seeking aligned to capacity and local labour market
n
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies to achieve successful return-to-work outcomes
n
- Maintain accurate documentation aligned to professional and regulatory standards
n
n

Additional support for Provisional Psychologists (5+1 Internship):

- External Supervision arranged and funded by KINNECT through our 5+1 college partner (covered under the program's retention terms)

- National Psychology Exam preparation resources and study support

- PD coordination to keep you on track

- Logbooks & Case Studies support with templates and review checkpoints
n
- Day-to-day leadership from your Team Manager, alongside your external supervisor

About the Candidate
n
n
- Provisional or fully qualified Psychologist: hold or eligible for AHPRA registration, OR
n
- Rehabilitation Counsellor: hold or eligible for ASORC (Full) or RCCAA (Full) by commencement
n
- Passionate about Workplace Rehabilitation and making a meaningful impact
n
- A strong communicator who thrives in a multidisciplinary team
n
- The holder of a full, valid Australian driver's licence
n
- Bonus: prior experience in vocational counselling, employment services or workplace rehabilitation.
n
