Forklift Operator Afternoon Shift- Freezer & Dry Store Operations

Turosi Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support our cold-store and warehouse operations. This role centres on high-accuracy forklift work within tempering, freezer, and dry store environments.

About the Role

n

This position is hands-on and forklift-driven. You will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, manage stock movements, and maintain product integrity in a fast-paced cold-store workplace.

n

Hours of work -2:00pm to 10.30pm

n

Key Forklift Responsibilities

n

n
- Safely operate counterbalance forklifts for all stock handling activities.
n
- Perform accurate loading and unloading of trucks.
n
- Operate forklifts in freezer, tempering, and dry store environments.
n
- Manage stock rotation (FIFO) using forklift movements to ensure accuracy and product shelf life.
n
- Conduct daily consolidation using forklifts to optimise space in the freezer and dry stores.
n
- Complete cycle counts and racking checks involving forklift access.
n




- Use forklifts for order picking, pallet retrieval, and space management.
n
- Both shift are on offer (Indicate if you prefer day or afternoon shifts)

Other Warehouse Duties

n

n
- Maintain accurate stock locations using Excel and Microsoft D365.
n
- Uphold strict housekeeping, safety, and ice-management standards.
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Valid Forklift Licence - Reach Truck (Double Deep) highly desirable.
n
- Strong experience driving forklifts in freezer or cold-store environments.
n
- Proven ability to manage warehouse stock using FIFO principles.
n
- Confidence operating forklifts in tight spaces and high-bay racking.
n
- Accurate, safety-driven, and reliable in all forklift operations.
n
