Job Description

Aqua Analytics is seeking a Water Network Technician to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Bayswater North, but working in water networks across Melbourne and Victoria.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Undertake active leak detection inspections of potable and recycled water networks (up to 10km per day of walking required)
n
- Respond to water supply emergencies and undertake fault diagnosis using a range of equipment
n
- Maintain accurate records of field activities
n
- Collaborate with water utility engineering teams to identify opportunities for network optimisation and efficiency improvements
n
- Comply with health and safety regulations and implement best practices on all work sites
n
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as required
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Proven experience working in water distribution networks or water utility operations and utilising acoustic leak detection technology
n
- Strong knowledge of water infrastructure systems
n
- Proficiency in using test and measurement equipment such as pressure gauges, flow meters,



IoT devices etc.
n
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
n
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various work sites
n
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual work in varied environmental conditions
n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
