Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Based at our second Australian site in Kemps Creek, NSW, this role will see you join our team of Electro-Mechanical Technicians within our brand-new and fully air-conditioned automated distribution center.

n

We are now looking for passionate and energetic Electricians & Maintenance Team Members for our Maintenance Teams on a permanent, full-time basis.

n

Our technicians work rotating shift work 5.00am to 2.30pm & 2.30pm to 11.15pm (including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays).

n

About you:

n

n
- Electrical Ticket/License
n
- Current CPR/LVR - within 12 months (Desirable but not necessary)
n
- Cert III in Electrotechnology - Contractors license
n
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults
n
- Conducting preventative maintenance on electrical/mechanical systems
n
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and maintenance documentation
n
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
n
- A commitment to safety and a proactive attitude towards safety in the workplace
n
- A genuine interest in automation and technology, with the aptitude to learn new concepts and procedures.
n

Mechanical:

n

n




- Perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and fault finding on industrial equipment.
n
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
n
- Complete maintenance records and work orders accurately
n
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety and quality standards.
n
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
n
- Solid commitment to workplace health and safety.
n

n

Meet the physical requirements including:

n

n
- Frequent walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time.
n
- Working at heights of up to 30 metres (wearing fall-arrest gear and other PPE)
n
- Lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 25kgs unassisted
n

n

Your new role:

n

n
- Maximize system performance and up-time through effective execution of all maintenance-related activities
n
- Participate in a broad array of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision
n
- Support Production Team through basic fault correction coaching and troubleshooting
n
- Fault Finding and Rectification with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears)
n
- Maintaining automation control technology (PLC /controls/inverters)
n
- Assist in the installation of new or refurbishment of existing system components

- Facilitate continuous improvement activities through broad system knowledge and site-specific enhancements
n
