Manufacturing & Logistics Operator - Townsville

Achieve Group are currently seeking reliable and safety-focused Manufacturing & Logistics Operators to work with our clients across the manufacturing and steel production industries.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Operate manufacturing and rollforming machinery to produce steel roofing, walling, fencing, gutters, flashings, purlins and associated building products.
n
- Read and interpret production schedules, work orders and product specifications.
n
- Program and adjust machinery to manufacture products to customer specifications.
n
- Safely operate forklifts, overhead gantry cranes, slings and other material handling equipment.
n
- Carry out routine machine inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
n
- Assist with stock control and stocktakes.
n

About Youn

Essential

n

n
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment.
n
- Current LF Forklift License.
n
- Basic computer literacy.
n

Desirablenn
- Previous experience operating rollforming or production machinery.
n
- Experience within the steel manufacturing or construction materials industry.
n
- Experience operating overhead gantry cranes (remote or pendant controlled).
n

Pre-Employment Requirements Successful applicants will be required to:nn

- Complete any required medical assessments.
n
- Attend a pre-employment interview.
n
- Provide evidence of relevant licences and qualifications.

- Be a citizen of Australia as this role will go permenant.
