About the role
n
We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our Queensland team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting two projects across the Lake Macdonald and Bundaberg regions.
n
This is a project-focused, site-based role suited to an HSE professional who enjoys being hands-on, working closely with project teams and making a visible impact on safety performance.
n
The role is available for an ASAP start, with potential to extend beyond the initial 6-month contract based on project requirements.
n
You can be based in Brisbane and DIDO to site, or FIFO may be considered for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities
n
Work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and site teams to maintain a strong safety culture
n
Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments and safety observations
n
Support SWMS, JHAs and project-specific HSE documentation
n
Monitor compliance with Keller systems, procedures and legislative requirements
n
Support incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions
n
Deliver toolbox talks, site inductions and HSE training
n
Identify hazards and work with project teams to implement effective controls
n
Provide practical HSE advice and coaching to site personnel
n
Contribute to HSE reporting, continuous improvement and project performance
n
About you
n
You will be a practical and proactive HSE professional who is comfortable working in a busy project environment and being visible on site.
n
You will ideally have:
n
Previous experience as an HSE Advisor or similar within construction, civil, infrastructure or a related industry
n
Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and construction requirements
n
Experience working on active project sites
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
A practical, solutions-focused approach to safety
n
The ability to build strong relationships with site and project teams
n
Flexibility to work 6:00am starts and 10-hour days
n
Ability to travel between the two project locations
n
