We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our workshop team and drive safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Lead and supervise workshop personnel across fabrication, assembly and testing activities.

n

Ensure production targets, delivery schedules and quality requirements are consistently achieved.

n

Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.

n

Coordinate labour, equipment and materials to maximise productivity and workflow.

n

Monitor work quality and ensure adherence to engineering drawings, specifications and company standards.

n

Support training, mentoring and development of workshop employees.

n

Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, Procurement and Quality teams to resolve production issues.

n

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality and workplace organisation.

n





Monitor workshop housekeeping and equipment maintenance standards.

n

Participate in workforce planning, performance management and recruitment activities.

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

Previous experience in a Manufacturing Supervisor, Workshop Supervisor, Production Supervisor or similar leadership role.

n

Experience within engineering, fabrication, mechanical assembly, industrial equipment or manufacturing environments.

n

Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.

n

The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

n

Demonstrated experience leading teams and fostering a positive workplace culture.

n

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

n

Solid problem‐solving capability and a continuous improvement mindset.

n

Proficiency with production planning and manufacturing processes.

n

Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication, Boilermaking, Fitting & Turning or related discipline.

n

Experience with custom-engineered equipment or project-based manufacturing.

n

Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, 5S or continuous improvement methodologies.

n

Forklift licence and relevant industry certifications.
