Senior URPA Automation Developer

We're seeking an experienced Senior URPA Automation Developer to join a dynamic government team driving innovation through intelligent automation. This role plays a key part in delivering, maintaining, and enhancing UiPath-based automation solutions while ensuring best practice development standards are embedded across the RPA function.

Location: Brisbane City, Queensland, Australia

Key Responsibilities

n

- Develop, enhance, and maintain UiPath automations through the deployment pipeline as part of BAU.
n
- Implement and uphold best practice standards across the RPA development lifecycle.
n
- Lead peer reviews and ensure documentation is accurate, accessible, and current.
n
- Provide technical advice and mentorship to developers, ensuring high-quality and reusable design components.
n
- Champion continual improvement of the RPA development practice, identifying opportunities to modernise tools and processes.
n
- Support the RPA Technical Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable automation solutions.

- Own daily production monitoring and troubleshooting activities.
n

Skills & Experience

n

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Senior RPA Developer within large or complex environments.

n

Deep expertise with UiPath Automation Cloud and associated products.

n

Solid background in solution design, Agile/Waterfall delivery, and lifecycle management.

n

Experience with AWS, VMware, GitLab, Confluence, Jira or similar platforms.

n

Proven understanding of security, governance, and change management practices.

n

Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills with a passion for innovation.

n

- Exposure to Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or other RPA tools is advantageous.
n
