HipKids is an exciting Australian business that designs, creates and sells a range of stylish and educational toys and furniture for children. As our business continues to grow, we are now recruiting Retail Christmas Casuals for our busy retail store in Surrey Hills.

n

Your primary role is to serve customers in our retail store and provide a wonderful in store experience. You will support the Store Manager in general retail operations, as we strive to create a fabulous retail space for our HipKids customers. Occasionally you may be required to assist with office/stockroom and dispatch general duties.

What we are looking for:

n

People who have a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences in a busy retail workplace

n

Confident to engage with all customers to assist them to find the perfect HipKids products

n

Experience in busy retail business, retail admin, operations & VM

n

Ability to multi-task and problem solve

n





Positive can-do attitudeand love to take initiative

n

Willingness to learn to assist in other areas of the business; including commercial personalisation

n

Flexibility with roster availability - including on Saturdays

n

It is preferred that candidates have fully flexibile shift availability over October, November and December.

Our Retail Store & Office is located in Surrey Hills. We are right near Union Station and there is plenty of free local parking.

Working hours are spread over Monday-Friday 9:30am-4:00pm and Saturday 9.30am-2.00pm. Occasionally, you may be required to work extended hours.

n

Pay is as per the General Retail Award hourly rate.

n

Manual lifting is required
