Southern Steel Supplies, part of the Southern Steel Group, is a dynamic leader in the steel industry, offering a comprehensive steel distribution service throughout NSW. We are looking for an experienced HC Truck Driver to join our Dubbo team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of steel products to customers while providing professional and reliable service. You will need to be adaptable, safety-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. When deliveries are not scheduled, you may need to assist with general warehouse duties to support the team.

To succeed in this role, you must have the following:

n

n
- A valid HC licence with a clean driving record for an Auto truck
n
- Previous work experience in steel distribution/warehousing (an advantage)
n
- Knowledge of Crane Handling (an advantage)
n
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
n
- A 'can do' attitude to work, flexible and able to work autonomously in a fast paced and dynamic work environment

Main responsibilities include:

n

- Loading and unloading of steel products
n
- Ensure material is securely restrained at all times
n
- Present to clients in a courteous and friendly manner to promote and maintain company image.
n
- Assist in maintaining vehicle in good working order completing any vehicle checklists as required
n
- Ensure that all road rules including those pertaining to speed, load and tonnage requirements and that safety rules and regulations are strictly adhered to
n
