We're partnering with a high-performing digital engineering team delivering secure, contemporary, large-scale applications. We're looking for an experienced Full Stack Java Developer with strong front-end expertise in React, Redux, and Saga, combined with solid backend development experience in Java (Spring Boot). This role is ideal for someone who has independently delivered front-end features end-to-end, working closely with UX designers, product owners, and stakeholders, while also being comfortable contributing to backend microservices in a collaborative engineering environment.

Required Skills & Experience

n

Back-End Development (Java)

n

n
- Experience developing microservices using Java 11+ (Java 17 preferred)
n
- Solid understanding of Spring Boot and REST API development
n
- Exposure to relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
n

n

Front-End Development (React Focus)

n

n
- Strong commercial experience with React, Redux, Redux-Saga
n
- Expertise with JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
n
- Experience delivering end-to-end front-end features independently
n
- UI development using HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling approaches (e.g., CSS Modules, Styled Components, Tailwind)
n
- Familiarity with micro-frontends (Module Federation, Single-SPA)
n

API & Integration

n

n
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
n
- Exposure to GraphQL beneficial
n

n

Cloud,



DevOps & Tooling

n

n
- Experience working in modern cloud environments (AWS preferred)
n
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows
n
- Understanding of modern observability tooling (logging, metrics, monitoring)
n

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Building high-quality user interfaces using React, Redux, and Saga
n
- Working closely with UX, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver front-end features end-to-end
n
- Contributing to backend feature development using Java & Spring Boot
n
- Integrating with REST APIs and ensuring smooth front-end/back-end communication
n
- Participating in design discussions, stakeholder walkthroughs, and technical planning
n
- Writing clean, well-tested, maintainable code across the stack
n
- Supporting releases, production environments, and continuous improvement initiatives
n

Highly Desirable

- Experience with micro-frontend architectures
n
- Knowledge of AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudFront)
n
- Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ)
n
- Exposure to identity, verification, or security-focused applications
n
- Experience with automated testing tools (Cypress, Playwright, Jest, React Testing Library)

- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
