We are seeking an experienced and reliable Fire Door Technician / Maintenance Carrier to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role involving the inspection, maintenance, repair, installation and certification support of fire-rated doors across commercial, industrial and government facilities throughout Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Inspection and maintenance of fire-rated doors and frames
n
- Installation and replacement of fire doors, hardware and seals
n
- Adjustment and repair of door closers, hinges, locks and latching systems
n
- Identifying defects and recommending corrective actions
n
- Completing maintenance reports and compliance documentation
n
- Working independently across multiple sites
n
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant Australian Standards and fire safety requirements
n
- Providing excellent customer service to clients
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role you will have:
n
n
- Experience in building maintenance, carpentry or fire door work
n
- Knowledge of fire door compliance requirements (highly regarded)
n
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
n
- Ability to work autonomously and manage your daily schedule
n
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
n
- Current White Card
n
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
n
n
