Urathane Solutions is looking for an experienced, reliable and hands-on Labourer / Technician to join our Melbourne team.

We are a specialist ground stabilisation and structural repair company working across residential and commercial sites. Our work is practical, physical and specialised, and we're looking for someone who understands what it means to turn up, work safely and take pride in doing a job properly.

This is an chance for someone with a solid construction, civil or trade background to join a specialist business and develop skills in an area of the industry that is not widely available.

What you'll be doing

Working alongside our experienced technicians and supervisors, you'll assist with specialist ground stabilisation and structural repair works.

Your day-to-day work will include:

- General construction and labouring duties
- Site preparation, set-up and pack-down
- Moving and handling materials, equipment and tools
- Assisting with urethane injection and ground stabilisation works
- Operating and maintaining tools and equipment
- Drilling and preparation works
- Working across residential and commercial properties
- Maintaining clean, organised and safe work areas
- Following site procedures and working safely around clients and the public
- Developing your skills in specialist remediation techniques

This is genuine hands-on construction work. You'll be on your feet, working outdoors and occasionally working in confined, awkward or difficult areas.

What we are looking for

We're looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in a hands-on construction, civil or trade environment
- Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Practical and able to use initiative
- Physically capable of manual work
- Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
- Confident using hand tools and equipment
- Safety-conscious and understands the importance of working to procedure
- Able to follow direction while also working independently when required
- Comfortable working as part of a small team




- Professional when working in and around residential and commercial properties
- Looking for stable, ongoing employment, rather than short-term labouring work

You must have:

- Current Driver's Licence
- White Card
- The right to work in Australia

Experience

Previous construction or trade experience is strongly preferred.

We'd be particularly interested in people with experience in:

- General construction
- Concreting
- Landscaping
- Earthworks
- Waterproofing
- Excavation
- Demolition
- Remediation
- Carpentry or other hands-on trades
- Operating tools, machinery or construction equipment

You don't need previous experience in underpinning or ground stabilisation. We'll teach you the specialist side of the role.

What we do need is someone who already understands the basics of working on a construction site, turning up on time, working safely, looking after equipment, taking direction and getting the job done properly.
