This is a straightforward sales role focused on contacting prospective clients, generating current opportunities and following up leads using Ashburton's in-house CRM system.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct outbound cold calling to prospective clients
- Undertake door-to-door sales and visit prospective businesses
- Introduce Ashburton and our certification services to potential clients
- Identify and speak with relevant business owners, managers and decision-makers
- Generate new sales leads and opportunities
- Follow up prospective clients by phone and email
- Follow up quotations and existing sales opportunities
- Use Ashburton's in-house CRM to record calls, leads, notes and follow-up activities
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date
- Work towards agreed weekly and monthly sales targets
About you
- Confident and comfortable speaking with people
- Comfortable making cold calls
- Willing to undertake door-to-door sales
- Friendly and professional communication style
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Comfortable working towards sales targets
- Good basic computer skills
- Organised and consistent with follow-ups
- Able to use an in-house CRM system
- Previous sales experience preferred but not essential
