This role is an exciting opportunity to play a leading part in a business that's expanding rapidly across the Central West, where your decisions and skills will directly influence safety outcomes and project success.

The Role

n

Based in Mudgee, this is a hands‐on, field‐driven position working closely with general managers, project managers, and engineers across a diverse range of sites.

n

You'll be the driving force behind safety excellence, developing and implementing WHSE systems, overseeing audits and risk assessments, and leading the cultural shift toward continuous improvement.

n

Your work will take you on the road through regional NSW, ensuring our teams are supported in maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Develop, implement, and monitor WHSE programs and initiatives.
n
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
n
- Deliver WHSE training, toolbox talks, and safety inductions.
n
- Investigate incidents and champion continuous improvement.
n
- Lead internal audits and prepare client submissions for major projects.
n




- Collaborate closely with project teams to embed proactive safety practices across all operations.
n
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and maintain accurate safety documentation.
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Qualifications in Work Health and Safety and Environmental or a related discipline.
n
- Experience within civil, mining, or construction industries, ideally on major project work.
n
- Strong understanding of WHSE legislation, risk management, and auditing practices.
n
- Excellent communication skills with a knack for building trust across teams.
n
- ICAM training (or equivalent) and commitment to a proactive, zero‐harm culture.
n
- Current driver's licence, White Card, and readiness to travel as required.
