Senior Program Manager – International Development Transition

Lead a complex international development program transition, coordinating agreements, grants, financial systems and stakeholder change activities. This senior contract role offers the opportunity to deliver a whole-of-program roadmap supporting major policy, procurement and funding reforms across a significant Pacific development program.

Location: Canberra, ACT
n Contract Duration: 12 months, with a possible 12-month extension
n Security Clearance Requirement: Current NV1 clearance required
n Closing Date: 5.00pm, 11 August 2026

Essential Tasks

n

n
- Develop and manage the implementation plan and roadmap for the program transition.
n
- Coordinate workstreams,



monitor progress and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders.
n
- Review and transition agreements, grants and funding arrangements into current frameworks.
n
- Support the transition to SAP and related financial systems, including staff training.
n

Key Criteria

n

n
- Senior program management experience across complex, multi-stream initiatives.
n
- Strong procurement, contracting, grants and agreement-management expertise.
n
- Proven stakeholder engagement, change management and executive reporting skills.
n
- Experience with SAP, SAP GUI, Power BI or comparable government financial systems.
