Godfrey Hirst is seeking a reliable and motivated Tufting Labourer to join our carpet manufacturing operations in North Geelong. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, repetitive production work and is comfortable performing physical tasks throughout the day.

What You'll Be Doing

n

This is an active manufacturing role where you'll spend most of your shift on your feet supporting the carpet making processes of tufting and beaming machinery.

n

Your day will involve:

n

Continuous standing and walking

n

Frequent lifting and carrying

n

Repetitive movements throughout the shift

n

Regular bending, reaching and twisting

n

Working around manufacturing machinery and equipment

n





Working in a production environment with varying temperatures and noise levels (PPE provided)

n

General housekeeping and maintaining a clean work area

n

Supporting production activities to keep manufacturing running smoothly

n

What We're Looking For

To be successful, you'll be someone who:

n

Enjoys physically demanding work

n

Can comfortably stand and walk for an entire shift

n

Is happy performing repetitive tasks throughout the day

n

Has the strength and fitness to undertake regular lifting and manual handling activities

n

Works safely and follows established processes

n

Has a positive attitude and works well within a team

n

Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm

n

Enjoy a consistent day-shift roster with no rotating shifts, allowing for work-life balance and predictable hours.
