n We're not just writing codes; we're engineering the future of immersive entertainment. As our Senior Backend Developer, you'll be the technical cornerstone of our ambitious vision, crafting the robust systems that bring our cutting-edge gaming universe to life.

n What will you do?

n

n
- Collaborate effectively with Creative, IT, Production, and Mocap teams.
n
- Self-manage daily workload, organising and delivering progress updates to teams.
n
- Develop, manage, and optimise backend solutions, ensuring scalability and performance.
n
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code and Blueprint nodes to assist team onboarding.
n
- Develop robust systems utilising Blueprint, Composure, and Widget (elements/ UI) interfaces that are scalable and executable in a package
n
- Create auto IP addresses to packages
n
- Work with Live Link.
n
- Work with video inputs (SDI input cards including Black Magic, AJA, Genlock, Timecodes).
n
- Oversee and enhance database integration between frontend and backend systems.
n
- Implement runtime save/load systems.
n
- Provide expert-level debugging, performance optimization, memory management, and crash-log analysis.
n
- Develop backend solutions using C++, including custom plugins.
n
- Integrate and manipulate motion capture data within Unreal Engine.
n
- Work with motion capture systems (Vicon, Xsens, OptiTrack, Move.AI, Rokoko, etc.).
n

What are we looking for?nn
- 6-10+ years of professional experience with Unreal Engine.
n
- Advanced expertise in Unreal Engine's Blueprint scripting system.
n
- Proven experience with Live Link, Composure, Widget creation,



and UI development.
n
- Proficiency in backend C++ programming.
n
- Significant experience with performance optimization, debugging, and system testing.
n
- Self-starter with a willingness to expand your understanding of the role and take on new responsibilities as your skill set increases.
n

Qualifications:nn
- Practical industry experience is mandatory; no formal university degree required.
n
- Certifications in Game Development and/or Virtual Production are highly valued.
n
- Must provide a professional portfolio showcasing relevant technical projects or contributions.
n

What additional skills will help you standout?nn
- Expertise in material creation (learnt through composure use) in Unreal Engine.
n
- Expert experience with motion capture workflows and data integration.
n
- Intermediate proficiency in Digital Content Creation tools (Photoshop, Blender, 3DS Max, etc.).
n
- Python scripting knowledge is a plus.
n
