The Role
n
As either a new graduate or experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients aged between 0-17yrs, in their homes, education setting, the community or our office clinic in Carrum Downs, VIC. The role is both assessment and therapy intervention based.

Duties Include:
n
n
- Conducting assessments, such as functional capacity review, family support plans, assistive technology, sensory profiling
n
- Report writing and case noting.
n
- Attendance at client case conferencing
n
- School Programs - with our contracted schools in Victoria
n
- Designing and implementing therapy plans to assist clients to reach their goals.
n
- Receipt of weekly supervision and providing supervision to direct supervisees (for supervisors)
n
n
Skills and Experience
n
n
- Current AHPRA registration
n
- Strong evidence of well-developed communication skills
n
- An ability to work autonomously.
n
- Demonstrated interest or experience working in OT Paediatrics
n
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills
n
- A desire to learn and commit to regular continuing professional development.
n
- A commitment to engagement in quality improvement activities
n
- An ability to mentor others and role model quality performance
n
- an ability to speak and write in English.
n
n
Desired (but certainly not essential)
n
n
- Knowledge of the NDIS
n
- Experience working in the NDIS
n
n
Requirements

- Ability to commute to client appointments and the office in Carrum Downs, with own car
n
- Ability to communicate in English

- Working with Children Check
