As Warehouse Operator, you'll be involved in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, supporting stock receiving and dispatch, production staging, freight, warehouse organisation and the daily activities of our warehouse, finishing and packing teams. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being active, organised and involved in the day-to-day operation of a busy production environment. You'll be responsible for helping ensure the warehouse is safe, organised and efficient, while supporting production and ensuring orders are prepared and dispatched accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

- Operate forklifts, walkie stackers and pallet jacks safely and in accordance with relevant licences
- Support daily warehouse activities and workflow
- Receive, check, count and correctly store incoming stock
- Prepare and dispatch completed orders
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular stock checks and stocktakes
- Stage production stock at presses to keep production moving efficiently
- Assist with day-to-day finishing and packing activities
- Work with warehouse, finishing and packing staff to complete daily tasks
- Coordinate freight pickups, deliveries and internal transport as required




- Liaise with freight companies and external service providers

About you

- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or production environment
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when dealing with stock and orders
- Positive written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
- A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
- The ability to work effectively under time pressure
- A strong understanding of warehouse safety
- Current forklift licence (required) with a minimum of 12 months experience operating warehouse equipment
- Experience with stock management or warehouse management software is an advantage
