About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters to join a well-established and growing food manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-performing maintenance team responsible for keeping a modern production facility operating at peak performance.

The Role

n

n
- Preventative and reactive maintenance across production equipment.
n
- Diagnosing and fault-finding mechanical breakdowns.
n
- Servicing conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
n
- Assisting with machinery installations and continuous improvement projects.
n
- Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime.
n
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records.
n
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to food manufacturing standards.
n

About You

n

n
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Fitter & Turner.
n
- Previous experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or automated production environments (preferred).
n
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
n
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
n
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
n
- A proactive attitude and solid work ethic.
n
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
n
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
n
