Real Estate Investment Management | Growing Retail Platform

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate – Finance to join a growing Australian real estate investment platform and play a key role within its expanding retail portfolio.

This is an opportunity to join the business at an exciting point in its growth, with the retail platform continuing to expand through future acquisitions and recent investment opportunities. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with Asset Management, senior leadership and external stakeholders while gaining exposure across the full investment lifecycle.

You will sit within the Fund Performance & Analytics team and take ownership of a range of asset-level finance and performance responsibilities.

You will be involved in:

- Leading asset-level budgeting and forecasting, including financial modelling and variance analysis.
- Reviewing monthly property financials and providing commercial insights into asset performance.
- Working closely with Asset Managers and external Property Managers to monitor performance against business plans.
- Preparing investor and co-investor reporting, including financial analysis and performance commentary.
- Supporting valuations, acquisitions and strategic initiatives through financial analysis and modelling.
- Managing property trust accounting and calculating property-level distributions.
- Supporting audit, tax and compliance processes.
- Improving and standardising financial models, reporting templates and processes across the portfolio.




- Providing ad hoc analysis to support investment and capital expenditure decisions.

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical finance skills with genuine commercial curiosity.

- 3+ years’ relevant experience across property, real estate, funds management, private equity or a related environment.
- Ideally, retail property experience or a strong understanding of property assets.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline.
- CA/CPA qualified or well progressed.
- Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel capability.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis and investment return metrics.
- Strong understanding of property accounting, trusts and fund structures.
- The ability to look beyond the numbers and provide commercial insight into asset performance.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with Asset Managers, senior stakeholders, investors and external partners.
- A proactive, analytical and highly organised approach.
