Australian Vinegar is a respected regional manufacturer supplying high-quality vinegar to the food industry. We're known for our innovation, safety culture, and commitment to our community. Right now, we're looking for a team member to support our production operations in the planning, scheduling and purchasing area.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, reporting to the Operations Manager. You'll get to learn about how Vinegar is made and then deal directly with customers, suppliers and staff to schedule all production jobs. As part of this role you will organise logistics and purchasing of materials required. This is a role that requires attention to detail, teamwork, good computer skills and a proactive attitude.

Whilst this is predominantly an office position requiring good computer skills, from time to time you will be required to assist in hands on vinegar production including being part of the on-call roster which is approximately one weekend a month.

Key Responsibilities

- Use our computer systems to determine materials required and order them as needed.
- Plan in advance production jobs to ensure we maintain our excellent DIFOT performance.
- produce reports for the Operations Manager to allow strategic decisions to be made
- Be able to lead fellow employees as required to meet production deadlines.
- Assist with vinegar production, packaging,



and lab processes if required.
- Operate equipment safely and follow production procedures
- Manage and co-ordinate the day to day operations of the business from scheduling through to despatch
- Actively seek to improve our manufacturing processes by identifying improvement initiativesUphold safety standards and report hazards promptly
- Contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

- A forklift ticket (preferred but not essential, we'll support you to get one)
