CPC Engineering is a multi-disciplinary Engineering Company with over 50 years of experience in the Mining sector and is 100% West Australian owned.

Our Goldfields division urgently requires the services of an experienced local Estimator with a strong SMP background.

n

The Role

n

n
- Oversee the preparation of estimates and submission of tenders, ensuring submission of documents meet set deadlines.
n
- Ensure costs for estimates include a high level of detail including direct costs associated with labour, material, subcontractor costs, in addition to preliminaries, including Management, plant & equipment, and any indirect resources required.
n
- Prepare and review material take-offs from Project Drawings as required to support compiling detailed estimates.
n
- Compile Technical Clarifications and Basis of Estimate documents to support Proposals.
n
- Compile, review and oversee the Tender Schedule and methodology compilation for SMP portion of works.
n




- Attend ad-hoc site visits and client meetings as required.
n
- Research and review construction and design documents and analyse specifications to determine estimated costs.
n

What you will bring to the role:

n

n
- 5+ years experience as an Estimator, ideally within the mining and construction industry
n
- Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Trade or similar
n
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly in Excel, MS Project highly desirable.
n
- Detailed knowledge and experience of applying industry norms or First Principal estimating for Structural, Mechanical and Piping
