Rig Mechanics & Heavy Diesel Fitters
Harness Energy is supporting multiple land drilling campaigns across Australia and we are currently seeking experienced Rig Mechanics as well as qualified Heavy Diesel Fitters looking to transition into Oil & Gas.

We have a mix of ongoing rostered roles, project-based work and adhoc swing coverage available. Whether you're established in drilling or wanting to break into the industry, we want to hear from you.

The role will see you carrying out maintenance, servicing and repairs on drilling rig equipment including engines, power generation units, mud pumps, top drives, hydraulic systems, compressors and auxiliary equipment. You will be responsible for fault finding, preventative maintenance, breakdown response and supporting safe, efficient rig operations alongside the crew.

For Heavy Diesel Fitters new to drilling, strong mechanical diagnostics experience on heavy equipment, mobile plant or mining assets is highly regarded.



Many of our clients are open to onboarding mechanically robust tradespeople and supporting their transition into rig environments.

To be considered, you will ideally have:

- Trade Qualification (Diesel / Mechanical / Fitter)
- Robust troubleshooting & diagnostic skills
- Experience working in remote or field environments
- A safety-first mindset
- Ability to work rostered or adhoc swings
- Current Driver's Licence

Highly regarded tickets include HR Licence, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Gas Test Atmospheres, Forklift or Rigging.
