A General Assistant Toolstore Person is responsible for providing high level customer service to enhance the effective and efficient delivery of frontline class support. Day-to-day activities include supporting students by contributing to a positive learning experience, general administration work, purchasing and organising tools, equipment and materials for students and staff. Manual handling activities are also carried out.

About You
n
n
- You are a self-starter who is willing to be hands-on to support learning outcomes and delivery in the classroom.
n
- You are excited to share your industry knowledge and experience with others.
n
- Have demonstrated experience working within a trade environment, using a range of hand and power tools and able to conduct minor repairs and maintenance.
n
- You have the ability to work flexible shifts between 6am - 9pm as per business requirements.
n
- A valid Working with Children Check (required prior to commencement).
n
- Demonstrated experience working within a trade environment or related work areas.
n
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of purchasing within a trade environment.
n
- Demonstrated experience in use of hand & power tools, small machinery and tool maintenance in a trade workplace.
n
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member or with limited supervision.
n
n
Highly Desirable
n
n
- Skills in the use of relevant information and communication technologies, in particular Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
n
- Demonstrated experience in following WH&S; instructions such as using correct PPE and following safe operating procedures.
n
n
