Role overview

n

We're recruiting a Senior Auditor to lead fieldwork, deliver high-quality audit engagements and mentor junior staff. This is a hands‐on role within a supportive team offering structured development and exposure across a diverse audit portfolio.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Plan, execute and complete statutory and regulatory audit engagements for corporate, NFP and SME clients
n
- Lead on‐site audit teams, delegate tasks, review junior workpapers and deliverable quality control
n
- Prepare audit files, financial statement schedules, management letters and audit reports in line with firm standards and Australian Auditing Standards
n
- Identify and communicate issues, risks and improvement opportunities to Managers and Partners; provide practical client advice
n




- Maintain strong client relationships and act as a point of contact during engagements
n
- Support continuous improvement of audit methodology, templates and use of audit software/cloud tools
n
- Contribute to staff training, coaching and performance feedback
n

Selection criteria / requirements

n

n
- 3–5 years' experience as a Senior Auditor in public practice (essential)
n
- CPA or CA candidature underway or completed (halfway or completed)
n
- Strong technical understanding of auditing standards, financial reporting and internal controls
n
- Proven ability to lead small teams, manage workloads and meet deadlines under pressure
n
- Proficiency in audit software and MS Excel; experience with cloud accounting platforms an advantage
n
- Excellent communication, attention to detail and client‐facing skills
n
- Ability to travel locally to client sites across the region as required
n
