JV Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced A Grade Electrician - Solar Installer for a Permanent position based out of Noble Park. You will be working across residential and commercial PV solar, battery storage, and EV charging projects across Metropolitan Melbourne and the Victorian region.

Partnering with an established industry leader delivering services for high-profile partners like RACV Solar, this role combines hands-on installation with technical leadership. You will oversee on-site operations, lead installation teams, mentor apprentices, and ensure all works strictly adhere to Australian Standards and CEC requirements.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

n

n
- Installing and commissioning residential/commercial PV solar, battery storage, and EV charging systems.
n
- Conducting site inspections, technical troubleshooting, and generating accurate field reports.
n
- Supervising Installers & Apprentices, managing daily on-site safety, quality control, and signing off on electrical compliance documentation.
n
- Interpreting system designs, working at heights (ladders, scaffolds, and roofs), and managing site deliveries/equipment.
n
- Training and mentoring apprentices on site, supporting their technical skill development and safety awareness.
n
- Delivering outstanding customer service and explaining system operations clearly to clients.
n

WHAT YOU'LL GET

- $60.00 per hour + Super + Coinvest.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

n

n
- A Grade Electrical Licence (VIC).
n
- Minimum 3+ years' experience as a qualified electrician with proven solar PV & battery installation experience.
n
- Valid White Card.
n
- CEC / SSAA Accreditation (PV & Battery).
n
- Working at Heights Licence
n
- Current Driver's Licence & Working with Children Check (WWCC).
n
- EWP Licence (highly regarded).
n
- Full PPE (Hard hat, Hi-vis, Steel cap boots).
n
- Company Vehicle Provided
