Cloud Engineer - Network

We're working with a Victorian government organisation to engage an experienced Cloud Engineer - Network on a 12-month contract. This role is hands‐on and focused on designing, building, and supporting enterprise networking across on‐prem, Azure, and AWS environments.

n

You'll work across physical and virtual network infrastructure, delivering secure and resilient connectivity including firewalls, edge routers, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and inter‐data‐centre links. The role sits within a large enterprise setting and works closely with architects and technical leads.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Designing and implementing enterprise network solutions across on‐prem, Azure, and AWS
n
- Building and supporting hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute, site‐to‐site and point‐to‐site VPNs)
n
- Configuring and supporting physical network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, routers)
n




- Delivering cloud networking using Infrastructure‐as‐Code and automation
n
- Supporting network performance, security, availability, and incident resolution
n

Key Experience Required

n

n
- Strong experience in enterprise networking across on‐prem and multi‐cloud environments
n
- Hands‐on Azure and AWS networking experience
n
- Hybrid connectivity and network security expertise
n
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments
n
