About the Opportunity

Uniting Kids Care Early Learning Springwood has supported families for over 20 years, providing education and childcare with a preschool program open long hours for children aged two to five. The service is located near Buttenshaw Park on the grounds of the Springwood Uniting Church.

Salary and Hours

n

$33 – $36.58 per hour (depending on experience), plus RDO, super and salary packaging benefits.

n

Full‐time permanent role.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Develop positive relationships that support children, their families and the community.
n
- Facilitate play‐based learning environments responsive to children's interests, strengths and abilities.
n
- Document children's learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes.
n
- Support the planning and implementation of engaging programs and curriculum experiences for children.
n
- Support children with diverse learning and developmental needs within an inclusive environment.
n
- Work collaboratively within a highly experienced team and contribute positively to preschool culture.
n

Qualifications and experience

n

n
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (completed); prior on‐the‐job experience preferred.
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in early childhood education.




n
- Experience with planning and programming for children.
n
- Sound knowledge of the NQS, EYLF and Child Safe Standards.
n
- Current First Aid and Child Protection qualifications.
n
- Passion for working with preschool‐aged children.
n
- Demonstrated ability to write learning stories and support curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
n
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Willingness to work within a team and continue learning and developing professionally.
n
