Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Senior Service Technician to join our Brisbane Service Centre.

In this hands-on role, you'll carry out repairs, fault-finding, diagnostics, and refurbishment work on a range of equipment in a busy workshop environment.

You'll be responsible for ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role is ideal for a skilled technician with strong repair experience, good problem-solving abilities, and a practical approach to getting the job done.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on a range of equipment
n
- Complete board-level repairs, refurbishments, and component replacements
n
- Test, calibrate, and commission equipment to ensure it meets quality standards
n
- Troubleshoot technical issues and identify effective repair solutions
n
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures
n
- Maintain accurate service and repair records in SAP and CRM systems
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop
n
- Support efficient workshop operations and help maintain high service standards
n

You're an experienced Service Technician with strong troubleshooting and repair skills. You enjoy working in a hands-on workshop environment, solving technical problems, and delivering high-quality work.



You take pride in working safely, accurately, and efficiently.

What You'll Bring

n

n
- Certificate III in Electronics and Communications
n
- Hazardous Areas accreditation (UEE42620/UEE42622 or equivalent)
n
- Restricted Electrical Licence
n
- At least 5 years' experience in electronics, RF, or a service centre environment
n
- Eligibility to act as a Qualified Technical Person (QTP)
n
- Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills
n
- Experience using electronic test equipment
n
- Experience with equipment repair, refurbishment, and calibration
n
- Experience in mining, industrial communications, or other safety-critical environments
n
