We are seeking a friendly and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at the Redfern Station Medical Centre in Redfern, NSW.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Scheduling appointments and managing the patient booking system
- Handling patient inquiries and concerns in a courteous and efficient way
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and inventory management
- Providing general support to the medical practitioners and nursing staff as required
- keeping the working setting clean
What we're looking for
- Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Proficient in using medical or practice management software
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
- A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Team player and able to fit into a friendly environment
