About the role
We are seeking Security Officers to join the Pallion team in a full-time, permanent position. The role operates on a Monday – Sunday rotating roster, with a 42-hour working week. You will join a supportive team of approximately 20 security professionals and work with experienced managers who are committed to your development and success.
What you’ll be doing
Administering front office welcome, security procedures & protocols across Pallion
Daily reporting of security & risk across all Pallion sites
Assisting in security breaches & alarm activations inside & outside of business hours
Stress testing of alarm & security systems
Random daily security checks of all employees
Adhering to security procedures & protocols
Security screening of employees & site guests (including customers & contractors), across all Pallion sites
Compliance with security laws & regulations
Monitoring CCTV footage across the Group
Adhere with safety and emergency response procedures at manufacturing facilities
Maintain a clean, safe working environment
Observe safe storage and handling of hazardous chemicals
Any other tasks as directed by management
Requirements
Must have minimum;1 A; 1 C security licence andFirst Aid certificate
Previous experience in security, risk, site protection or a related operational environment.
Strong observational, incident response and report-writing skills.
Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
A proactive, reliable and hands-on approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to reprioritise in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and a commitment to following tasks through to completion.
The ability to follow procedures and management direction while exercising sound judgement.
Highly regarded
Previous police, defence or security service experience.
Experience within the security and risk industry.
Strong health and safety awareness, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
