The Retail Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant's retail and customer service activities, supervising staff, coordinating daily operations, assisting customers, managing stock and ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness and workplace safety. The role involves supporting management with staff coordination, handling customer enquiries and transactions, monitoring product quality and presentation, and ensuring the business operates efficiently during busy trading periods.

Benefits

Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000 per Annum + superannuation.

Task & responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily retail and front-of-house operations.
- Allocate tasks and monitor staff performance during shifts.
- Assist customers with enquiries, orders and complaints.
- Monitor stock levels and arrange replenishment when required.
- Ensure products are properly displayed and meet quality standards.
- Handle cash transactions and assist with daily cash reconciliation.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and workplace safety.
- Train and support new staff in customer service and workplace procedures.
- Assist management with opening,



closing and general operational duties.

Qualification & experience

- Diploma in Retail Management, Business Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of full-time work experience as a Retail Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience supervising and coordinating staff.
- Good knowledge of retail operations, stock control and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety and food hygiene requirements.
