We are seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to join a professional accounting firm in Sydney. This internship provides hands-on experience across accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, payroll, and financial reporting while helping you develop practical skills in an Australian business environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting tasks
n
- Support the preparation of financial statements and working papers
n
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
n
- Assist with BAS, GST, and payroll processing
n
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
n
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
n
- Assist with general finance and administrative duties
n

Skills & Qualifications

n

- Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field




n
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
n
- Experience with Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks is advantageous
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
