Argus Waste Recycling is a Liquid Treatment Facility that holds an EPA License for waste recovery, processing, recycling and resource recovery of a range of prescribed industrial wastes.
We process and recycle all wastes transported to our purpose-built site. All material recovered from grease traps and used cooking oil collections is diverted from landfills and recycled for higher-end uses and applications.
About the role
Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are looking for a Sales Support Manager, to join our energetic team of experts. This role is permanent, full-time and will be based in Dandenong South as well as field based as required. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting our team of highly skilled Business Development Managers as well as following up leads from our other Managed Service business with a focus on interstate and franchise opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Dissemination of new leads to BDM’s (including AI Signal leads) ensuring they are categorised by size / scope and provided with as much detail as possible for best conversion opportunity
- Analyse tender documentation and identify risks, opportunities, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure all submissions are completed accurately, professionally, and submitted within deadlines
- Administrative coordination and assistance to BDM’s for setting up new clients,
customer work order and purchase order coordination (management through portals as required) and project data capture and completeness (pricing, photo’s, etc.)
- Proactive management of on-demand customers in consultation with Plant Chemist and Operations team as required
- Pricing/Quote/Tender preparation assistance to BDM’s when major tenders and bids arise. This includes supporting all information gathering work
- Develop Sales Tools to assist with revenue forecasting, pipeline review, and future budget estimates
- Assisting accounts team with any invoicing related queries based on quoted and completed jobs
- Oversight and coordination of interstate customers and subcontractors when required
- Enhanced revenue collection and customer retention through utilisation of existing customer relationships to support debt collection
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar business development / sales support role
- A diploma or degree level of education is desirable but not essential
- Ability to analyse and interpret information related to specific jobs
- Outstanding customer service, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work with a variety of individuals / groups
