About the opportunity?
n
Y Victoria is currently seeking a permanent Coordinator for our After School Care service at Marist College. This is a permanent part-time position (22.5 hours per week) with working hours from Monday to Friday - 1.30 PM - 6.00 PM, with ample administration time.
n
The hourly rate for the position is $40 (ACECQA approved Diploma or equivalent) and $46 p/hour (ACECQA Approved Degree or equivalent) + ECEC retention payment + 12% super.
n
OSHC Coordinators are responsible for:
n
n
- Overseeing the daily operations and strategic development and growth of the program;
n
- Working with the Regional OSHC Coordinator to identify and respond to service improvement opportunities;
n
- Creating a positive relationship with the school, families, local community groups and contract partners;
n
- Managing a team of educators who support you in operating a high quality and fun Outside of School Hours Care program
n

What do you need?
n
n
- You'll need to have either completed or be working towards a Diploma or tertiary-level qualification as determined by ACECQA (see the link below)
n
- You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent)
n
- You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Children's Check – employee check
n
- You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor certificate within the first month of your employment
n
n
There are a variety of qualifications that ACECQA has approved to work within OSHC ranging from education to community services to healthcare. All Coordinators must be at a minimum, Diploma-level qualified.
