Babysitters, Nannies & Postpartum Doulas/Mother's Helpers

Willow Childminding is seeking caring, reliable, and professional Babysitters, Nannies, Postpartum Doulas/Mother's Helpers to join our growing team across Western Australia.

n

This flexible role involves supporting children and families in a variety of settings, including casual babysitting, ongoing nanny placements, school holiday care, overnight care, event childcare/crèche services, and postpartum family support.

n

No two days are the same, with opportunities available to suit different levels of experience, availability, and interests.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Providing safe, engaging, and attentive care for children of various ages
n
- Supervising and participating in age-appropriate activities, play, crafts, and learning experiences
n
- Preparing simple meals and snacks for children
n
- Assisting with routines including meals, bathing, homework, bedtime, and school or extracurricular activities
n
- Supporting children's emotional wellbeing and development
n
- Maintaining a safe and tidy environment during care
n
- Communicating professionally with families and Willow Childminding
n
- Following family instructions, routines, and expectations
n
- Assisting with light child-related household duties where required
n
- Providing support to current parents as a Mother's Helper or Postpartum Helper where applicable
n




- Supporting group childcare settings such as parenting programs, workshops, community events, and crèche services when opportunities arise
n

About You

You are a caring, trustworthy, and dependable individual who enjoys working with children and making a positive difference in the lives of families. You are professional, adaptable, and confident working independently while maintaining a high standard of care.

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
- National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Strong communication skills
n
- Reliable transport preferred
n

n

Desirable

n

n
- Experience babysitting, nannying, childcare, education, nursing, disability support, or related industries
n
- Relevant qualifications or studies in childcare, education, nursing, psychology, social work, disability support, or allied health
n
