We're looking for a garment technician to join our product development team as a key part of the company. We're looking for someone who is passionate about fits, loves working in a team, and strives to get our product looking good on women of all body sizes.

Key Responsibilities

n

Fit & Technical Support

n

n
- Attend daily fit sessions, taking clear and accurate fit notes
n
- Assist Garment Techs with identifying the best technical and construction solutions to improve product fit and quality
n
- Measure and review all incoming samples, ensuring they match approved specs, grading rules, and workmanship
n
- Review production samples and confirm all measurements and fit changes are correct
n

Sample & Critical Path Management

n

n
- Oversee and maintain the critical path timeline, ensuring all key milestones and deadlines are tracked and followed
n
- Create and manage efficient systems for organising sample stages, ensuring samples are easy to find.
n
- Maintain a well‐organised, tidy sample room that supports workflow efficiency
n
- Communicate fit notes, updates, and technical clarifications to suppliers via email and WeChat
n
- Provide daily updates to factories regarding sampling status, fit changes, measurements, and deadlines
n
- Clearly communicate reasons for bulk rejections,



supported by photos, videos, and detailed measurement notes
n
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal team members
n

Cross-Functional Support

n

n
- Work closely with designers, production, and buying teams, offering technical insight, grading feedback, and fit expertise
n
- Ensure all product decisions reflect the Peppermayo customer and their diverse body shapes
n
- Assist with e-commerce product descriptions when needed
n

n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Garment Technician or Assistant Garment Technician
n
- Strong eye for detail — able to spot measurement discrepancies, construction issues, and quality concerns instantly
n
- Highly organised mindset — enjoys structure, systems, and maintaining an efficient sample workflow
n
- Solid understanding of garment construction and fit
n
- Confident measuring samples and reviewing workmanship
n
- Knowledge of grading rules and how they vary across different styles and fabrics
n
- Able to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines in a rapid‐paced environment
n
- Proficient in Excel, Google Drive, email, and WeChat
n
- A collaborative, solutions-focused team player with clear communication
n
