Senior Residential Care Officer

Are you an experienced support worker ready to step into a leadership role? RGH Global is recruiting on behalf of a dedicated children's residential home provider looking for a Senior Residential Care Officer to help lead their team and provide nurturing care to young people.

The Role

n

In this pivotal role, you will support the Registered and Deputy Managers in the day-to-day operations of the home. You will be responsible for:

n

n
- Leadership: Leading shifts, allocating tasks, and ensuring safe staffing levels.
n
- Safeguarding: Promoting best practices and ensuring children are protected from harm in line with statutory guidance.
n
- Care & Support: Providing nurturing care that promotes emotional well-being, independence, and social development.
n
- Key Working: Developing positive relationships with allocated children and contributing to placement planning.
n
- Collaboration: Working with social workers, health professionals,



and education providers to ensure positive outcomes.
n

What You'll Need

n

n
- Qualification: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Essential).
n
- Experience: Proven experience working with children and young people.
n
- Skills: Solid leadership and communication skills with a solid knowledge of safeguarding.
n
- License: A full UK Driving License.
n
- Knowledge: An understanding of trauma-informed care and Ofsted regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.
n

Package & Shift Pattern

n

n
- Salary: Competitive and Negotiable (Base starting at £14.50 PH + £60 per sleep-in).
n
- Hours: Shift work including evenings, weekends, and sleep‐ins as required.
n
